hirnŭla, ae, f. dim. [hirnea], a small jug or pitcher for liquids; in an unaspirated form: irnela vasis genus in sacris, Paul. ex Fest. p. 105 Müll. N. cr. (but urnulas is the true reading in Cic. Par. 1, 2, 11).
